I KNOW!!
I can't believe it has been so very long since I posted. To be fair, I did mention that I would be taking a bit of a break. Before I knew it, one week turned into one month, and then more life happened and I was months behind! So much happened over the holidays, I hardly know where to start. I will begin with a few of my favorite pictures from the weeks leading up to Christmas. We were very fortunate to see so many wonderful friends and family this year, and Margot was just a blast.
The Grotto, Mid December: Very chilly, but so pretty!
Margot on Christmas morning: Her face pretty much sums it up!
Pretty much every single day from December 10 to December 25:
The reason I am still finding flour residue in the kitchen:
As a (mostly) former selfish person, I could never have guessed that I would not care what was under the Christmas tree if I was allowed to watch my own child opening her gifts. It really was a joy watching her little face light up and hearing her sing out "I WUV IT!!" every time a package was placed in front of her.
For New Years, we took a trip to the beach with Ben's Dad and several family members. The weather was amazing, and we had such a good time.
Ben and his Dad with Mags:

The Salishan sunset:
Getting back to normal life after all of the excitement was a challenge. Margot has been trying really hard to drop her nap, but so far we are still narrowly winning the battle. We have recently been painting and redecorating our guest room so Margot can move to a bigger room with more area to play. Ben has done an amazingly cool paint job that I will be posting pictures of soon.
I hope everyone is well and I have missed hearing from everyone. I promise to get back to regular posting and sharing all of Margot's milestones.

Wasn't Christmas awesome with a two-year-old? I wish Margot and Millie could have made Christmas cookies together. :) Your New Years trip sounded wonderful, and your coast pictures are stunning!!!
Good luck with the nap thing... that's still a big struggle around here. :) Miss you guys!
