Six years ago today, almost to the hour, Ben and I were married. It was a simple wedding in a simple place, but nothing about the way I feel about Ben is simple. He is the kindest person I know, and he loves me with his entire being. Even on the days when I am acting like anything but lovable, he is there. Steady. Reasonable. Charming. I love that he can make me laugh when all I want to do is cry. I love that he can bake and is not afraid to admit he likes it. But most of all, I love that he is mine.
