Two weeks later

We have been very busy the last few weeks, and I have not felt much like blogging. However, Margot has started saying so many new things in the past few days, I thought it needed to be documented for posterity.

"Mouse, Coogie!" This means read me "If you give a Mouse a Cookie" right now!
"Mu-se, Mubbin!" This means read me "If you give a Moose a Muffin" right now!
"Hag, Hag!" This means give me a hug! However, it did take me a second to regain composure when my toddler was running at me screaming "HAG, HAG MOMMY!"
"Boo, Boo fuck!" Um, yeah. This means blue fork, so we need to work on that. ASAP. Again, taken aback a bit when this was first muttered.

Last night we went out to dinner, and at the table Margot thought it would be funny to yell out the words "money" and "boobs" for some reason. I think the neighboring table thought we were dining with Hugh Hefner or something.

Margot can recognize her colors and say them all now, even though a few are still pretty heavy on the baby talk. She can also count to five with her fingers, and loves to draw. We have been practicing with a few Ed Emberly books, and once I can find the camera, I will post a few of our masterpieces. In the mean time, here is my sweet sweet girl, looking so very grown up in the picture. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Who needs entertainment when a toddler is underfoot?

Well, it's about time! I was suffering TERRIBLE Margot withdrawl!
But, I hear ya, I haven't been in the "blogging mood lately either. (Damn that Pioneer Woman, posting every single day, she makes mom like us look bad!)
Did you get my email @ darlker's gmail regarding Zoe's new blog?
If not, GO NOW!! I command you!
(P.S Just be glad Margot didn't yell Boo, boo, F@#*" in the restaurant!)
;)

I know!! PW is a machine!

And I am SOOOOO glad that Margot was not fixated on the "forks" in the restaurant. I have really been working on curbing the naughty language at home, so that would be my luck that an ordinary utensil will be my embarrassing downfall!

Boobs and money huh? That is TOO funny! Yay for words, though! (Even if they might sound dirty). By the way, Margot is looking lovely in zebra. A girl after my own heart with the animal print! Miss you guys! XOXO

We're friends..you can tell the truth. She was taking after her dear mom and wasnt really trying to say fork, now was she? I keed I keed! We have a similar problem with the mispronunciation of the word chalk. Nothing like hearing your baby say "I want cock!"

Dude, Gen, Margot points to every single clock around town and yells out "Cock!! Cock!!"

But you do have me beat with the "I want Cock!"

I love toddlers.
