A Hard Week

Last week was kind of hard. On Monday we went to an indoor playground where Margot had a ton of fun. She had some quality time with kid sized cars and a trampoline. And somewhere along the line, she caught a bug.

She woke up pukey on Tuesday and spent most of her time listlessly lying around with a fever. Thankfully, there were a couple of times soon after she had a dose of Motrin that she perked up for about an hour, but all in all, it was a rough day.

Wednesday she seemed better, but despite the fact that her temperature was normal again, she was still tired and her appetite was quite curbed. Then on Saturday, she woke up with a cold.

Hitting town with Mommy
By Sunday she was all better, and we went over to Grandma's house for a visit. She fell asleep on the way home for a few minutes, and evidently decided that that would be her nap for the day. Suffice it to say, Sunday afternoon was long and cranky.
Whoa!
Monday was better, though. The sun was out and it was warm. We went to the park twice and Margot was once again in high spirits. Plus, she's gotten her appetite back. It rained again yesterday, and she started experimenting with puddles. I think it's time for some rain boots.
Ha Ha!

I can't believe how big she is!!! In my mind she was still 6 months old . . . it looks like she is having a blast!

Oh, those pictures are the cutest ever! I especially love the one on the trike. I'm with Trisha; I still can't quite believe she's getting so big without any of us getting to watch. She is just too adorable!
