80 Degrees of Bliss

Ahhh....after months and months of cold, rainy blah we finally saw a day of warm weather here in Portland. One of the things I love about this city is watching everyone crawl out from under their prospective rock the second the downpour stops and a tiny ray of sun peeks through the clouds. With all of this sun, we decided to head down to Broughton beach on the Columbia for a little kite flying and fun.

Hello, Kitty!

Nothing but blue sky and Hello Kitty

The Kite Runner

Margot was very excited about the kite and couldn't wait to try it out, but quickly lost interest when she figured out throwing handfuls of sand and rock in the water was more fun.

Rocky Fist

All in all, we had a great day and enjoyed the warmth. Tonight it is back to crap, threatening rain and COLD. The glimpse of warmth is only a memory now, but a nice one that makes us ready for more. I think it is going to be a good summer.

Still love each other

Anyone have big plans for this summer?
